My Makita packed up other day so I bought Eibenstock/Mega Mixer for about £330, they aint cheap but fingers crossed itll last! if I actually get it ******* serviced for a change.

did you get from refina if so they do a service and will lend you another while its been done

Nah mate, found the website a bit s**t, couldnt work out if it actually came with a paddle for the price and it was all +VAT, so went on Amazon n got it on there!

Surely youd still lose a day or two sending it back to them to be serviced? cos theyd still have to send you down a new one? may as well just take it to ya normal hire shop n get them to sort it?

no mate when you phone them they send it out with the courier then he picks it up when he delivers yours back

oh.. well Im sure there service is brilliant, Im obviously not elitest enough a megamixer owner to do that now! bolllocks, sounds top notch that!

when id had my refina for about 4 yrs, i took it to the local shop, and he said that unless its not working or sparking it doesnt need servicing. he said theyre designed to get wet and dusty so they dont need internally cleaning....

I used that evolution one from screwfix when my mixer packed up, the paddle on it is useless, takes ages to mix a bag, if you can change the paddle it may be ok...I've got a silverline mixer had it for 4 years now cost about 70 large paddle mixes up a bag quickly. aLTHOUGH i'm sure a magamixer is alot quicker..if you can afford one!
