I rember one of the first things i learnt to do at Grindon Infant School was to pick locks on a Mk1 Escort.

It would'nt of been a very long lesson cos i was told :RpS_wink: you could open them with a house key:RpS_lol:
 
So can you remember any spreads you worked with at PWD i erm left there in late 83 after a bonus clerk fell over in front of me :RpS_unsure:
 
I started in 87 September and was gone ny December, only time i picked up a trowel was 2 clean it.

TBH i learned more at weekends working with lecturerers from college and after i left there than i ever did working with 90% of the spreads i worked with during my apprenticeship !
 
OOh you were lucky were'nt you would of though deerbolt more likely at that age. I have had reservations made for franklin many many years ago which have been cancelled at the last minute however, i have visited there on several occassions down the years.
 
Customer wanted me to do a built in bed to maximize the space in a small bedroom.She wanted a storage area as well so her son can keep his footie trophies.I recommended putting a light under there, and it worked out quite good...well they happy anyhoos.

Putting an archway over the bed to add to that built in look.

It was on spanky's other thread. Ill try and find it unless spankster can remember which one it is. Got a canny bite off whoever it was. I was expecting spanky to take the bait....lol
 
today been tiling a kitchen for an ex metropolitan police officer who has retired aged 52 , and come back home to carlisle, i say again 52 and retired

He'll have joined young then cos they only needed 25 or 27 years for a full pension the same as nurses, firemen and all civil servants basically. Think they have to work longer now though.
