I am patching in some holes where sparky has removed lights in ceiling and also where we've removed a wall, blue grit it up ready for skimming tomorrow. Nice easy day IMO.

What's everyone else on today?

Just got an inquiry about patching after a rewiring job by the sparky's, might go look at it today. Currently wanting for an insurance company to okay my price to tear out & replace a ceiling.

I've never had a problem with pva just heard different opinions on wether to let it dry or wait until it's tacky, haven't used pva for months now just use bluegrit. I think it does hold back a little bit.

Wow, we don't have aggregated bonding agents around here that I know of, sure like to see some on the market. But.... I'm thinking after reading up on the ingredients in Blue Grip and the ingredients in the bonding agents available here that I might play around with mixing together some acrylic finish with a fine aggregate and some Weld-Crete® Concrete Bonding Agent | Larsen Products and see what happens.

:-0 be careful @Loren. no naked flames. its like breaking bad plastering style

I think that I'd experiment in the shop not on a job. I really got interested when I looked up the info on the Blue Grip bonding agent. They claim to have a distributor in the US, but they are real stingy about letting anyone know who it is. What kind of business practice is that? We regularly used to use a witches brew of different mixes when I was younger, it seems that now days everything comes premixed.
