Whats this finish

Been to look at a job... the build has created this finish and the customer hates it...

Looks like finish that has been textured with a roller...

You stipple it then go over gently with a plastic trowel or spatula gives a corked effect.
This is also done with marmorino @RobJack

Its called a skip trowel finish in the USA see it on render a lot in France.

If it is marmorino it would have been done with a roller. Probably a spiked stipple then trowelled as it goes off to create this effrct

Well I arrived today with a sander to see if we can knock it flat... sands perfectly....

I now need to find a sander that is not going to fill the room full of dust....

I am then being paid to prep for the painter... yay

If it was one wall then yeah reskim but its throughout and reskimming would screw up window sills and a tonne of other stuff...

Already told them but they keep coming back with other stupid things like they use a toilet brush and a window wiper!!!!

Don't know how half on here get work!!!!
