No mate just seen one on there called monoblanco does anyone know if this is pure brilliant white. Ive been told blanc du littoral is pure brilliant white but cant find a supplier. You tried rendit mate?
Parex natural white looks more magnolia than white
On my first parex job I did a 200m2 gable to match the rest of the building
I asked for white and the sent natural white.
What a ball ache rep said it was parex fault.
Had to be painted
Does anyone know where to get natural white render from. K rends white is a slightly off white im after a sharp white no off colour. Northwest area
Rendit will cover it for cracking for 2 years mate as well.
Which is rubbish IMO and shows a total lack of confidence in the product, we give warranties/guaranties through the system developers we use for 10 years, 25 with EWI and I have them insurance underwritten through GDGC !
Awesome, none of them include cracking though.
Yes they do, if they didn't we wouldn't need to do the amount of meshing we do and extra mesh across all the stress factors to ensure against further cracks.
All our quotations and guarantees cover cracking, flaking, fading, in fact any failure covering a minimum 10 year period!
I don't need to read the small print or get into any pissing competition with you, we use high impact, polymer, crack resistant cement-free renders, period, and as such we offer 10 year warranties through the system developers we have used on those projects, they come direct from them through us as approved contractors and applicators, end of...
It ain't a pissing competition mate, we use "anti-crack full render specified systems" as well, you ain't covered for cracking. I'm yet to see a mono manufacturer who'll hold their hands up to a crack in a render when the blocks have cracked and the blockwork guys certainly won't.
I'd advise you read the small print to avoid over selling to your customers, seriously.
Mono has cement in it by the way.
I know, I don't need a lesson on render thank you and I don't need to read any small print. Maybe you should write to Licata and question their website comments declaring a crack-resistant system HERE! I'm sure they'll be chuffed to be told by you it's not possible and not guaranteed, even though they clearly write it on our warranties, it could save them thousands in claims, if indeed it cracked again that is!
Their BBA's say that only cracks over 0.2mm need to be repaired.... I've been down this road, I had a customer insisting that they had a render guaranteed not to crack a few years back and I couldn't find one.
Well the tech guys for the systems we use on various projects come out to the sites and meet our/their customers and reiterate what we put in our quotes and give extra assurances directly, so as long as they do that I'll crack on.
Just ask them if the renders guaranteed to not crack if the background moves. Background movement causes most cracks, very rare render just spontaneously cracks on its own.
Obviously any kind of existing structural cracks through brick or block that could be seen prior to any application then I'd put in a caveat/disclaimer and write that area/panel out, I'd have that conversation with the customer personally, as I have before, and make sure they understood it. They (system developers we use) do omit responsibility for certain 'acts of god' scenarios as nothing can be guaranteed against some circumstances that could lead to cracking, but, following a SD's specification on a sound building surface and with them visiting during our application and with all my applications being approved, they will guarantee our applied system without any additional caveats.

Goo is chalk the equivalent of Weber chalk. Bl10 is a true white. I always get larger samples made up of the chosen colour and confirmed by the customer, then your covered.I have used Vimark blanco and its white. So is Parex BL10.
As said above I did a Parex natural white G00. It dried out Beige. I had to pay out £650 in paint alone to get it off white.
It is getting expensive your right, mind they are all going up year on year well above the inflation rate.I found Parex pricey and the lads a CCF didn't really know the products they were selling. I asked for white and got sent natural white
Like rigsby said it's beige.
I don't use it anymore I use fassa which is far better and cheaper

I heard some are doing over 400 bags with parexI think parex is over rated tbh. Some of there stuff eats r@s for fun

Parex have excellent samples to choose from .
I had the same situation recently . I left it for a month before coming back again and it was match with the sample panel . Customer wasn't very happy at the beginning and panicked- had drying patches all over the render. In my opinion the timing of scraping and how plays big role , but I am sure you are aware. How long you left it before colour wash it?
Thought it was scratch. It's the same when is sponge finish, just leaves the finish with a tone or two lighter , but parex got it spot on with the samples. Difference we are not aware off, until is to late I guess.Mine was roughcast. So in fairness it will be different as the aggregate is covered in coloured cement. But still beige.
Lesson learnt there. The mono colour samples are different to how roughcast turns out.
