Think retail is shifting and blurring the picture a bit, but I just hope that we avoid the dreaded no deal scenario, because this forum and this country will be a very depressing place if that happens. 100 lorries used in no deal exercise the other day when 10,000 a day go through Dover. Amateurs. Scary s**t , no one's prepared.

I shop mostly online or twice a years at large shopping centre. That's what's killing shops. Walk around. Buy a coffee and stuff face and order online when you get home
 
Our domestic plastering sector is nearly identical to the retail service sector. The brakes are on, people holding back. What happens in retail generally mirrors demand, especially working class people who don't have cash, they are the first to put the brakes on.
 
There is a lot slowing up....

I think we are in for a rough ride for the next few years but in the long run I think it is for the good in the end... I hope!!!

I would be looking at saving as much money as you can now though and prepare for the lean times

Nope, I know a few who survived last one,,, they were shite but their prices were nonsense cheap and most people go cheapest in in a recession, drop.

Plastering has become the g mans personal kryptonite but unlike a normal person who would take steps to change it he keeps ploughing into it and then comes on here to whine about how s**t plastering is. So every post is groundhog day rinse repeat. The guy's an absolute buffoon what he needs is thrown in to an empty room and the door and windows bricked up.

That's why he is fake, or has a grudge against forum. He knows he is annoying, asks questions that he knows that get reactions. I don't think he is a buffoon because he is playing a game that people are going along with and getting away with it.
