Wickes Bristol and BG Multi Finish

They must not of had good training then ..i go sig and Ccf and all the staff have a surprising amount of knowledge of products they sell so are obviously given good training ..sig the same Howarths I never heard of before tbh..around Nottingham we are spoilt with good merchants..maybe it's a Grimsby thing

I can't imagine many of the serious 'trade' builder's merchants would stock uni finish as it's a pretty niche product. The volumes they shift will be for new builds and extensions, a product aimed at the over-skim end of things wouldn't be worth their while.

You could be right it would make a change lol would you not say it's down to the rep to introduce new products rather than me mentioning it? You should of seen his face when I mentioned the magnetic lol he actually said if it was April fools day he would of got it. Both these plasters have been on the market well over a year, I have lost count of the amount of plasterers who who looked at me like I'm mad when I mention magnetic, never mind the public. If the guys who are plastering day in day out havent heard of it unless they are on the web ( let's have it right some spreads can use computers) lol it's all down to marketing at the end of the day.

True..it's order in at most ,same as magnetic (y)

But not as niche as magnetic
Hate saying it ..you are right (for the first time ) 80% cheaper though.
Uni £8 a bag (sig)
Magnetic £62 a bag (ccf)
Inc vat

Uni don't look that expensive anymore
How the hell did we get to magnetic from a dodgy dry bag from wickes :wtf:

I can get paint for a fiver that will cover 40m and I can also buy wallpaper for a pound a roll that will cover 10m the thing is they do two different things, the same as comparing tiles to laminate floor it doesn't make sense the same as comparing uni and magnetic.

We used 5 bags today from Wickes over blue grit. No probs.

Must of been a few sh!t bags out of the pallet then, I had a pretty bad weekend all together so it would of been right for me to be the t**t who finds the duff ones!
