Like an ad for ww1I used to run my boots into the ground until they were falling off but old boots starting to play f**k with my toes. Toes were red raw at the end of a day. I’ll replace them when they start going s**t this time.
It’s like being in the trenches sometimes on shitty rendering jobsLike an ad for ww1
The Bolster and Apprentice are crap. Budget Dewalt boots. The ones in that link look good! These are my choice. Tried to replace them many times dintonthe high price mark and now I have 5-6 pairs few months old sitting around. There is something about them, they fit like have been made for me

I’d go for the puma steel toe cap ones then but if he’s not bothered about steel toe 100% I’d recommend Nike Sfb , they honestly make you feel happy walking round work in them.We are talking safety boots, not trainers or basketball shoes

Only really wear adidasThe all leather white Nike ones last longest imo.
I find boots with laces don't last long when rendering
Dubbing helps with the boots and string works for laces if you don’t mind looking like a tramp, I dontConcrete is same. Cement eats laces. Eat the stitching in your boots, too. Then your feet if you don't watch it.

I use half length wellies for floor screed and air weir rest of the time they last about a yearWellies is the answer. Nothing else will stand up to concrete for more than a couple of weeks.
Maybe not so good on scaffolding, though.
