Something iv never done to be honest, not even at full height. In all fairness there’s not usually anything to lash them to

It's like any other thing you end up doing automatically, once you start it becomes second nature. For a set up like you have there if it's a quick job I put a bike strap like this around a piece of 4 x 2 inside of the room bridging the window and pull the ladder rung to it. Wrap the 4 x 2 so that it doesn't mark the walls. You can sometimes feed the strap through over the end of a joist at the eves, or screw a bolt to the side of the joist. If it's a slightly longer job then I drill a scaffold eye bolt like this into the wall.

The cat ladder can then be strapped to the climbing ladder.

I know most don't bother with stuff like that on small jobs or as one man bands. But then find out the hard way that they have no insurance if there's an accident and they haven't secured the ladders properly, worn a harness, have signs and/or a spotter on the ground etc.

My view at my house with the missus before we fell out
Tbf pic doesn't do justice to how bad it was. I was gonna put a price in for the last phase but didn't see point if they'd accept work like that they wouldnt like my price lol

Show us your dried finish lads of you dare:)

I've normally left the country by the time it's dried. Only get to see it occasionally.

I go osteopath first Monday every 2 month, £40 a pop for half hour, it’s worth it because he keeps me in work. He’ll be able to work it out will just take a few sessions and stretches morning, day and night. Horrible pain trapped nerve, like being cattle prodded then your frozen to the spot. You’lol be back in work before you know it. Just don’t rush it.

Sounds like sciatica.
If you fancy a couple of days chilling at my lake, "come on down".
On a fishing holiday for a week from Saturday, think the Mrs will kill me if I f**k off for even more fishing....not sure I could play a decent sized carp at the minute:)

But a lovely offer mate, I will be paying you a visit at some point that's for sure

It’s traditional three coat haired lime mortar with goat hair, the outside walls are 60mm insulation, meshed with lime finish. Riven chestnut lath on the ceilings with 25mm sheepswool. Limewashed with hydrated lime putty.
The pricking up coat on the lath is extra haired horse hair mortar
