Was it one of them three in one ladders?
Had one of them collapse on me 20 years ago.
Ended up with metal pins in my elbow and a good 3 months off work.
Never used them again absolute death traps!

I don’t usually use it but it seemed ok for what I was doing

Titanium rod down your leg, my mates got one in his leg, he’s kept his in cause if you have it out they have to dislocate your knee and ankle to get the f**k*r out then puts u out again for god knows how long, good luck with the recovery pal
