Domestic plasterers consider switching to site when this outbreak is over,I'm guessing majority of people will not allow people into there homes long gone after this is over I'm thinking years.money will be tight and I still think media will be going on about it for years still putting abit of fear into people.first thread so be gentle :oops:

I spent a month ringing site contractors and got nowhere , all wanted gangs , house in 2/3 days
 
i had worked on sites for years, started on housing then moved to commercial. commercial pays better and larger areas. i don't like having 20% of my earnings stopped.
i now do domestic work with the odd self build, private clients or the understanding person only.
 
People will have you straight back in. Got job next week . Boyfriend knocked plaster of and damaged other wall. Said when can you come. I said next tues if we keep apart. See you next tuesday then

Absolutely no way . It was shite before this lockdown and will be worse after . Companies will use it as an excuse to bring prices down . I will just live off all the money I saved on my domestic work until this lockdown is over
