I've tried it.

I think it's magic mate.

I also think it's a lot to do with how good the teacher is.

Also did a sunset yoga session on holiday, that was mental mate.

I've always kept myself in above average physical condition, never suffered major injuries etc.
That changed a about 4 years ago when my hip started to get painful, so following advice I cut out high impact exercises mainly running.
To cut along the story short it took 2 years too confirm a diagnosis of arthritis in my RHS hip.
The worst thing I did was stop running when in fact I should of just cut down on the distances to 4-6 miles instead of 10+.

The best thing you can do Danny is a variety of exercises from strength training - skipping - cycling - swimming- to stretching (yoga).
I incorporated yoga into my stretching and found once you mastered the correct posture/movement it helped.
I don't do full yoga sessions now as it's a bid boring but use elements when stretching post workouts.
I never go to gyms as they bore me, strength wise I do body weight exercises pull ups, dips, push ups, squats. CV bag work, skipping, burpess etc.
Just keep moving different ways at different intensities and stretch, but the best bit of advice I'd recommend is RELAX and it's more enjoyable.

Get into calisthenics m8 start on all the progressions and work up I’ve been doing it about 4 years it really strengthens the core and all the compound muscles in your body I do it 3 days a week and add weights to myself now as I’ve maxed out bodyweight and you don’t need to go to the gym either can be done at home

I'd recommend anything strength or that gets your heart pumping..
Ive had a couple of years trying to turn myself into a 'software engineer' load of bollox, long story short its taken me f**k**g weeeeeeks well nearly 4 months, and im still nearly 2 stone overweight and absolutely f**k*d every night.. 1 quick set this morning and prepped another job this afternoon and bloody glad I went and prepped it... roll on friday
