I have a wall to skim in my sisters house which has a lot of cracking so need some advice on how to prepare the wall.
The top quarter is part lime/horse hair from the late 1800s and part browning/finish from the early 1990s so should be fine to skim over.

I'm in Newcastle. The house was built in the 1930s and I think over the years the rainwater has made its way through the concrete causing the rebar to rust.
Hi, a chunk of concrete has fallen off my Mums outhouse porch ceiling. The hole is about 40mm at the deepest point.

Iv used 6mm glassroc on tight radius curves, you should be able to get it from a merchants.
Iv also bent 15mm duraline boards without wetting them, just put a few blocks/bags of plaster under each end of the boards then they will bend under there own weight.

There's also a bit of patching to do in 3 other rooms before I skim them. All the walls are lime plastered sandstone.
