Ive had tennis elbow several times over the years... I find it best to go down to a smaller trowel.... I went from an 18" to a 12'' and also went back to a board and stand instead of digging out of the bucket all day everyday.... Not had it since....
Had v
Had Clifford's on all my sports cars over the years.... Baffles me how people can buy a 20k van 6k of tools and don't invest in extra security..... I stupidly left the front of the van unlocked at the week end and had the cab ransacked.... The dead locks I had fitted saved all my tools.....
Not to be an arse but get a professional to sort it...... You cannot skim over contaminated plaster... It must be removed, treat the substrate with an anti salt solution and render with a water resistant render.....let it cure for a couple of weeks then skim....
Thats were using a merchant pays off rather than b and q/ wickes... You can build a relationship and get looked after.... Im due 30 bags on Friday and the manager rang me to offer me them..... Does not want none regulars and profiteers getting them.....
Not at all.... 1st manager they had was an arse.... He was grumpy, not help full and moaned like hell if you returned anything... This new guy is helpful and on the ball..... Might get them some biscuits at xmas....
I have a similar list but travis ain't on it bud... Got a call yesterday off my local travis manager to say they are due skim in this week and do i want some as he doesn't want it to go live on the website as none regular customer and people out of the area will snaffle it all up...... You...
If im honest i dont think it was.... I think it was one I got off sovereign (damp course company)... But my problem with the grit is it only provides a key.... No adhesion....
I like the bostik but its the 2nd one that has failed on me.....after taking the whole ceiling off with a wall paper scraper i will not use again....... The bond between the skim and grit was piss poor...... I got the whole ceiling off and didnt remove on bit if grit.......
I agree, ive had 2 fail now.... People have said i should have Bonded it out before skimming but the instructions say to apply, allow to dry 24 hours and skim out as normal..... Skimmed some painted walls today and pva'd them will almost neat pva.... Was sticky as buggery... Prefer this to grit...
Going to overboard using board edging beads so i can leave the coving in but just alter the profile slightly.... Done this before but hadn't seen them at the time of doing the original job
