Hate them. all i seem to get is hall/stairs and landings too plaster with kids and customers up and down the stairs all day having to move the planks/ladder all the time so stresful.

How come they can do smaller bags of plaster in plastic but not the normal size bags?? Would happily pay extra £1 a bag or something.

I used this for the first time on a fan effect artex ceiling the other day and it worked perfectly! Just put few handfuls in the first coat and was lovely to lay on and covers the depth so much better.

Very true, i've lost so much work from greedy mates and builders putting to much on top and losing the work or so they tell me, found out of one plumber a guy had put my price in with a nice chunk on top for gimself then got someone in cheaper than my quote to do it to make even more.:mad:

January has been pretty steady actually full weeks worth of jobs last week couple of jobs week before. couple more nxet week. and pricing a fair bit. Last year i had 1 job in january i think, so not bad. Hopefully be another busy year though.

7:30 to 8:am any later i don't want to start i'm up at 5am in the mornings and go gym at 6 so like to start early and finish early :-)

A colured internal finishing plaster would be cool.

Looks like they do some good products for patching and stuff. Fast setting renders and all sorts.

That is absolutely shocking for £2.50 a m2 let alone for £4 a m2 you could take your time a bit more and get it f**k**g bang on for that rate..

I used normal bonding today over some old tile grout and that in a kitchen and was able to skim on it within 45-60 mins anyway???

I enjoy tyrolean to. and it looks so much beter when fine like that, i've never managed to get it that fine, but by what you've said never had it wet enough.. Where abouts in bristol you based mate?

I do know quite a few site bashers who do that to, they lay on a massive hit then bugger off at spoons for a hour and leave laborer to finish up, then do another big set and leave laborer to finish off pack up kit and pick them up from pub and drop them off at local every day.. Don't know how...

True mate, i was mental last year, and with a couple of full houses and smaller stuff as well keeps me nice and busy as work on my own.. Quite slow at the moment but pricing loads, so no doubt won't be for long.

I never understand when people say there booked up for 6 months plus with domestics. 3-4 weeks in front of me is busy, anymore than that and customers don't seem to want to wait unless there repeat customers.

I'm ho[ing i can use to flatten off skim as i got one for xmas. :-)
