    the use of decorators caulk to fill out is ok if the gap is small and cleaned of SQUARE not rounded, you'll never wallpaper up to bottom edge of the cornice now. has he used easy fill on the ceiling hes just skimmed?? the mitre as said is terrible. if he has tried to put the cornice up level...

    Deffo go the landy route if your after a 4x4 and work vehicle. Can always get one a crew cab with a box. As said a 130 will give you more room in the back for gear but hard to come by with overlanders snapping them up.

    Ha luckily we have furniture from where we are now. Only thing we need to buy really is a new cooker and ideally a new sofa. But for now will make do. Worst costs are this bloody chimney and the wood burners :( giving me a right headace

    Yeah bonding and skim would. But if me I would use bonding to bulk out then casting plaster for the final. Be a lot quicker.

    Don't get them wrong! Got my spotlights yesterday. Drilled all 18 holes...hit the joists on 6 of them. Need to move them but keep them all exact distance apart. I went home steaming. I had them all marked out perfectly. Not happy.
