There has been a lot of developments here in ireland in the noughties that have used machine and hand applied weber pral & k-rend products mostly in the lighter colours finished to a very high standard. Having passed some of the those developments lately the finish is starting to look very rough...

The finish looks good enough, if your engineer is happy don't worry about it, lick of paint and it will come up well

Morning after rasping can be tough going! No experience of the power rasps but id say its better to do it by hand for the finish though..

Jaysus some craic off this thread! A bloke who reckons he's a qualified plasterer after 8 weeks is ridiculous to be fair. Here in ireland an apprenticeship is 4 years and 3/4 of the blokes that come out are useless from doing f**k all in the training centre. Take's at least 4-5 years of hard...
