    G4 standard for liquid screeds

You'll be looking at low profile screeds and leveling if it's from a bag. The smart will lay at 35lpm with a D8-1.5 its ample quick enough. I had a standard G4 capable of pumping upto 80lpm with an R pump but never once needed it.

    G4 into Transit van

Cheapskates, I paid £1000.00 to have that van polished and ceramic coated last year. Makes washing it a doddle.

    G4 standard for liquid screeds

On paper maybe, are you going to run an R pump unit and need above 40ltrs a minute? If not the smart is enough.

PFT G4 for spraying roughcast/ spatter coat

Yes, a D 3-4 will slow it down to about 8lpm but i don't see the point.
  14. W

PFT G4 for spraying roughcast/ spatter coat

Not really, Its two nuts to change an RS over and the G4 is twice as quick at both applying the backing and the texture, the higher air output means you can keep the speed for texturing relatively high with the G4.
  15. W

PFT G4 for spraying roughcast/ spatter coat

Spray, rule and spat neat, change RS to D 4-3 and adjust water accordingly. Spray two tight passes of texture in a circular motion, 10-12mm cap with the air pulled back slightly more than usual.

    Retrofit UFH, screed questions

It's a large volume of material to mix and lay, for both applications. It requires a mixing pump. Ryan on here from one stop should know of someone in your area with the equipment and experience. I think he also supply's the screed now to.

    Retrofit UFH, screed questions

It's just the way I am. I've screeded many retrofit systems thanks, the one the op intends to use is a plastic tray that you fill with 20mm of screed and you're advising him to fill it with tile adhesive. Perhaps it is you that needs to research UFH a little closer.

What the f**k are you on about, it's plastic trays and plastic pipe. Pump the screed straight into the tray.

    An easier life

It's the simply things that keep them nice, using the door handles instead of having render finger prints smeared all over the bodywork. Putting things back where they belong, and sweeping her out before loading all the gear back in.

    An easier life

Not alot I got it for a steal, had to do a bit of fabrication. And fit uprated rear leafs to give the van a bit more lift. All in cost me about £700 and a bit of my time.

    An easier life

I've just fitted this under the van for lifting the machines in and out. It folds up and auto retracts under the van out of the way when not in use. Brilliant addition, makes loading so much safer and easier.

    Worried about render

Perhaps the customer should have been standing over him to tell him he didn’t have enough gear on the reveals to avoid misses aswell. And the customer should have really told him to use the scratcher in a circular motion rather that up and down the window to avoid straight line scratching.

    Considering a three phase.

It's not a big seller because it doesn't do what a G4 does as well as a G4, i.e it has the drawback of a gravity fed hopper, and although it looks like a ritmo, the biggest advantage of a ritmo is its light and nimble and that big b*****d thing aint. The reality is I'm sure most would look at...

    Wet gear, lost presure. M200

That must be pretty much the same size as a g4 and nearly as heavy. For me the beauty of the 230v ritmo is it’s light and small enough for one guy to get in and out the van on his own for them small jobs. I’d much rather really have the best of both worlds and have a g4 and a ritmo separately.

    Wet gear, lost presure. M200

Why not have the switchable g4 instead? I much prefer a force fed mixing chamber over gravity.

    Thistle Pro Pure

I've completed a 4x4m test room in airless on new board, I'm pleased with the finish it is flawless, but then it will be, your just piling on a surface filler then flattening it back with a big mechanical sander, no talent needed. I'm waiting on the Graco APX to be released over here, then we...
