The trowel b4 last (when it starts to change colour ) I wet trowelled it then aswell with a spray bottle I brought the fat out to fill
But the very last one brings hardly anything off n not usable like piss
Used it today re did a wall after some kitchen alterations at home I probably should let the deep areas go longer but other areas I mist coated n then 2nd coated n another trowel
U got to leave it after that cus just tears but I touched it -( knob lol) , left it ,let it change colour plenty...
@Cox32 have u tried mg multi on artex yet ?
I used it on a old ceiling it went ok but any extra thickness on 2nd coat u aft piss about waiting for parts to go off, u really got be Anal filling out first would u agree ?

good luck with that ,but if I was travelling down to Birmingham you’d want a bit more than a replacement bags surely they could throw in some extra for time n trouble I’ll email them
I bet yer were sweating today then ,I did bedroom ceiling reboard n skim using carlite so it soon went ,proper melter the weeks caught up me up now knackered
I tried it today only half a bag lol,it turns quicker basically I troweled up with sawn off speedskim st and when it was changing colour I used speedy again the s**t responded better to plastic in my opinion
Like previous posts have said u got fill out first or scratch first coat on
I had same scenario looked Ok at first n drys out then the trouble starts lucky I know the painter but I lost money on the job has he at rub 2 ceilings down fill etc n then paint 3 coats on each ,I’ll wait for the 2nd batch n then I’d like see it trialled properly by make good
The make good guys put out there if u fancy a trip to Birmingham they will swap the old batch for the new
Also p1 are sending new batch of make good out to anybody who purchased the first with them!!
I’ve had hassle off the painter about painting the first batch stuff ,his roller goes about 3ft and that’s it paint sucked up n that’s after 2 coats wtf
Yeh I’ve had similar next day just not a smooth finish never mind polish
I Used it again but on troweling up 2nd I flattened any lines went to go over again absolutely no point not achieving only way I got a smooth/polish I scrape most of the 2nd coat (the filler) with a flex trowel my arm was...
