Never used this stuff however I've a 6inch x 4m concrete lintel needing rendered and will be using this. Is it a case of applying with a brush onto the lintel as one does when applying pva. Also putting it through the mix then I'm good to go.

Also, the gable trim, was it on top of the battens or the type with the legs covered over expanded metal? Have been advised to cover the leg type with expanded metal if i use that type.

When you say you did the floors, was it screed? If so, next time use a laser level and strike a chalk line right around the room and work till that. Youll have a nice continuous line where you wont notice any ips or bumps at the bottom of the wall. As long as ya got paid is all that matters haha

What's best to strip paint of walls. I'm doing a small revamp and in the kitchen, the old paint is coming off in sheets which is great however some parts aren't so easy. I don't want to leave it on in case it comes loose once I skim over it. Its an old house and the paint has been on decades.
