You can finish it with a metal trowel for a smooth finish but the idea of this material is that it's breathable....
By finishing to a smooth finish you are reducing or making it non breathable....
It should be finished with a sponge to keep texture open
You...
Search for scaffold hoist
I been looking for one too ....cheap Chinese version 50-150.
Sampson lifting in Gloucester 400-450 ish
Lifting bracket is 50.00
certified and quality kit...
Understand why it's tempting to go cheap
Personally I never finish lime with a steel trowel
You should really be leaving a light texture to leave it breathable .....so sponge would be recommended
You need to make it clear to customer what material can do and not the other way around
We don't allow for scaffold on our render jobs but have a firm we ask to price and if customer accepts they do this on a fixed price for a set time (say 6 weeks max)
And would only charge if it goes over.....
We had some cromar stuff a while back .....too bloody thin, ran down walls onto skirting board
Was orange in tub. ...ended up mixing half blue grit with it to thicken it up (and thin down blue grit)
