addiction cost me everything

addiction is because there is a void in your life. you cannot be still. cannot be on your own. cannot sit there and do and think absolutely nothing. you need something to distract you. thats the addiction.

But I'm more of a bloke that would say I haven't got a problem and I enjoy it while I do it we ain't all saints but some love to be labelled and then can blame it on it,if you got it in you you can sort it if you ain't then only one path you will end up on,never take pity always encourage instead but if they don't wanna help themselves you can't help them

It's all about tough love for me, not in to all this sympathy, I know how your feeling crap. Pick yourself up dust yourself off and man up. There is only ever one person that can help you.

When you have children and your doing drugs you deserve all you get IMO

Not really i could sit in peace all night watching david attenbourgh....or with my 2 year olds cuddles....i agree its got something to do with not being able to relax.....or getting bored easy.
But fuuck society and its answer for everything.
 
Stop chasing money coz you will never have enough, I have an addictive personality so steer clear from certain things. I know money pays he bills do have to earn i but your kids are the most important things and Apennines you take your eye of the ball. I have never been motivated by money I would rather have a piece of art hung on a wall and make nothing. Leaving your footprint in the world it making a change in someone's life is more important than being rich and stepping on every c**t to get there. I've been in this guys position more than once and will again but being nice and honest with yourself helps but it's hard :) lotus getting harder and harder because of the net and places like FB but try not to buy into it it's all fake, if you have kids you will understand they don't really give a f**k or care they are innocent. My kids ask me why I am working all the time but most of the time I use it as an excuse for going on the piss loo

We are all trying to get the ballance right, save for a rainy day pay the bills but enjoy life now. A little voice in your head telling you to be sensible and don't do this and don't do that and you still ignore it and go ahead, thats just human and it's complicated.
 
I think im a fuucking weirdo........when lifes to plain sailing i like to take another path !!!
There is no in between up or down .

Sponker. I attend AA and get hooked on everything too. I'm doing OK now and the way i got OK was listening to those in the know and ignoring pr1ck comments about brush it off, pull yourself together etc. They're in a timewarp, but most are catching onto the mental health thing now. Less ignorance and more education. Get on a twelve step programme, do what they say and change your life. It's possible.

Me again and again and again......but i still get up knock the fuuck out of them houses take me kids abroad..and spoil my family everyday.
Bills all paid and plenty of spare cash.
But i do get fed up with it and stay normal for ages then get bored of that !!
