Thing is anyone can be labelled an addict some choose that lifestyle ones who feel strong about it and see aa or similar as only solution are weak first thing is admit you got a problem then deal with it it's not hard is it and pound to a penny people will then blame time as a kid that one uncle ect ect no one will ever say I love getting on it because i enjoy it will they
 
I've lost 5 friends through drug related s**t 2 murdered 2 overdoses 1 suicide,
Also 2 locked up for murder.
Life can be heaven or hell walk where you wish amongst it there's no rhyme nor reason and all will go their own way . My path is mine and I'm responsible for that and no others.
But how others deal with their path is down to them voicing it or seeking help who am I or anyone else to judge, but all have a view that's your prerogative.

Am addicted to plastering. I know I should not be doing it. I don't even want to do it or even like doing it. But when I get up in the morning the first thing I do is go to work. But some days am strong and get back into bed. Some day I'll beat this disease

I know this is probably an alien concept, but his addiction completely overrides any power of choice. He is not choosing to act badly, he's in the grip of it and needs outside help, he is not at fault. 100%

He had a choice not to take a drug in the first place, the moment he very first took the drug he s**t on his kids and wife
 
Thing is @gps, I have you ever placed a bet? Had a pint? I'm thinking the answer is probably yes. But you've known when to stop. That's because you don't have an addictive personality. But you surely you can empathise with those that do? I can. I'm not a sociopath.

Clemo that sticky mattress syndrome is leathal pal,it ain't that u don't wanna work it's that ur addicted to not doing a thing all day,but your a funny bloke so I can get over your issues and embrace you for who you are :hola:

I think the bloke who started this thread will be needing the wank room a lot if he don't get a grip of his life miss Palmer and her 5 sisters will be his only company
