Surely it's dependant on background, what works on one might not work on another. I think that as trade plastering has fallen foul of trying to reinvent the wheel. Look at all the plastering done before the present, all done with basic tools in comparison to today. I'm not knocking different methods if you've got a system that works all power to you.

Flex is for plasterboard or small areas on domestic work.
They'd only cause more problems on large areas of floating.

Saves you fuucking around wetting it up.

Speedskim won't fix around plug boxes angle trowels cables bad joints reveals grit pulled up the wall etc.
