Anyone else find life a struggle, nver mind running a business?

Have done the normal house thing but had 2 breakdowns trying to keep up , kids married a few years ago so don't have as much responsibilities , couldn't wait to cast off , going to build a boat this year , another option to the rat race, still legal to do that
Yes it f**k**g crazy people live in big houser drive fast cars and they look miserable or not happy something is very wrong

Hey always wanted to do that. An aluminium one. Last year I was going to get a fibreglass sea fishing project and completley strip it and redo it. They get sold cheap leading up to xmas due to storage and cash. Watched loads of Youtube vids on similar.
Been buying wood , double glazing, lights , cables and insulation etc up from local auction aiming for building my own island with a shed , all planted up and will invest in solar panels straight to 12v for all mod cons and electric outboards

Fox is no good he takes your chucks and lambs....12 bore boom!!!!
I get tesco reduced and feed the fox ,
Saw the most amazing wildlife things here,
One day I heard an unusual simpering sound and crept up to investigate , adult male and female on hind legs arms over each others shoulders shuffling around and singing to each other

Brilliant. Keep feeding the foxes and enforce the ban. Toffs f**k off, game's up.

An innocent uninformed response. People getting a kick from chasing fluffy animals is one thing but if no one controls foxes then their fate is worse. (info not supplied here).

As a city boy like myself it is nice to watch and enjoy wildlife but then you later as I do see what that wildlife does. Then before you condemn the control of that wildlife you had better remove the cause of it.

The cause of it is ....you.........You want your lamb, eggs and chucks. Then the control will continue. Stop eating them and your foxes will live a happy life.......to the next truck squashes them on the road.

I've lived in the country all my life and have witnessed fox hunting first hand and it's f**k**g cruel.
If numbers need controling then shooting is much more humane.
Personally I'd like to just let the poor buggers be.

Throw 90% of your collected garbage (possessions) in the local tip, sell your house so you dont have postman delivering demands everyday. Buy a motorhome and find a minimal job on a nice campsite that pays your pitch and leccy. If you want some extra beer tokens help the local guys or do a week or two on a site.

Best thing we ever did, you don't need much dosh when 80% of it isn't going to corporate wan....s you've never met for things you don't need, 100 quids become like 5's

I bummed round australia in a campervan :D was good fun :D

Totally agree 100% Andy. But the truth is nature gets a long just tickityboo. But then we open a bounty store for wild animals with farms to supply our food. So they go after our food cause its easier.

Humans are the problem wanting cheap or needing cheap food.

Same as me, no pressure of bills , no doing jobs I don't like or for people I don't like, got a field that's practically my own nature reserve , sleep in my transit , beer from lidl , tesco reduced and keep a freezer full , no takeaways home cooking as like a natural environment , part of your mind medicine

living off grid appeals to me no end :D

Of course but someone has had to live in the rat race to pay for all your hospital treatment.

So you aren't 'off grid'. In fact you are more totally reliant on the system and not contributing so become parasitic to others and over burden other tax people living in the rat race.

You could watch a few brain surgery vids on Youtube to stay off grid.

One man wrote several books on being self sufficient. He has been dead about 15 years now. Ask anybody who tried it and one common response is.............'There is only 24 hours in a day'.

Our species has been evolving for thousands of years and in the last two seconds of that evolution we invented mortgages, money, paperwork etc etc. It’s an unnatural necessity that we’re not actually made for which is why life gets to us sometimes.

We’re hunters, gatherers, runners.... that’s why our minds feel better with exercise etc.

I have thought about this many times Jess. (Should get out more).

Until the industrial revolution. We got up when we woke and went to bed when tired which to an extent was natural. Then all of a sudden we have to be at work and finish at a specific time to suit industry/commerce.

Our food is unatural and processed. We have to stay working when we are knackered to keep our jobs. We have to go to work when we are tired from a sleepless night.

Then because we have little free time we have to eat quick meals which are again not natural.

Any wonder it all goes tits up for some people.

Indeed but even then it was ‘modern’ living compared to ourselves as hunters and farmers worshipping the sun and the moon!

Life would have been short but simple. Now it’s long and complicated! Best bet it to mix the two and try made it long and simple!

I'm a vegan, so no lamb for me, but yes there's a difference between narcissists chasing foxes dressed as T***s on horseback and farmers protecting 'products' but you also state it's the bounty the farmer has provided for the fox.... the human creates the temptation, the human then destroys the predator. All a bit uncivilized.

Once had a job booked in and found out subsequently that they went foxhunting, called them up and politely cancelled saying I was too anti hunting to want to work for them. Same with a tycoon I did loads of work for. He started bragging that he was off to Africa hunting lions (how F*****g insecure must you have to be to do that) made my excuses and never returned.

Are you sure you do not have a lefty mentality who has a problem with rich people and blames them for the worlds ills?

Actually if you must know the truth. The great unwashed partake in blood sports more than our posh cousins.

And when I say blood sports I am talking about things like dog fighting, badger baiting as well as tally ho nonsense, shooting, fishing etc.

And feeding their kids crap , not quite a blood sport , it's just slow motion early disability and death

I am a socialist and I'd be lying if I said that didn't play any part, but when it comes to animal cruelty I'm not fussy. Dog baiting by chavs, hen fighting by gypsies I'll take anyone on. Don't even get me started on the Chinese, sickening.

What about when you are ill Danny? Illness can strike anyone at any time. You need modern living then.
It's always appeared to me that the modern living is making people ill, not fixing it. There were virtually no poorly kids when I was at school in the 80s, now the majority have asthma, allergies off the scale, kids with cancer, it's bloody awful. Some weird f..... change in 30yrs if you ask me, something's happened they didn't tell us about.

Well people are always bitching about food and the best way to get proper food veggie or meat is visit your local farmer and buy direct.

First thing people do as soon as they get the chance is run to the local supermarket and hand over their money to them. All profits go to supermarket and farmer gets screwed to produce food cheaper and cheaper so the supermarkets can make maximum profits at expence of animals and other food.

Blame the people.........The same ones who never stop whining about poor foxes and badgers and proper food...........you reap what you sow.

Actually its food but it would take ages to explain.
