Hi, the basecoat on my render is too strong and its not letting topcoat grip and stick. The topcoat keeps sliding off and im at wits end, any advice to get topcoat to stick would be greatly appreciated!

Yes its keyed finishedSbr slurry, splatter on, almost like a tyrolean
How is the basecoat currently finish keyed?
Its the waterproof thats too strong and not allowing top coat to stick and making it slide, would your recommendations still work?Slurry some weber rend aid up and paint it on or try micro gobeties it's a parex product either should do it

I really can’t see why it’s slumping unless you wet the scratch coat down to muchIts 4mm

Should have gone to spec savershow unearth is the waterproofer too strong.. how did that happen
