A sure sign that a plasterer has never done his time and had to learn from the bottom up.

You're totally right mate I didnt start off cleaning buckets so your probably right I don't appreciate that aspect, all I can say is I had the same tubs for 6 months, I kick em out and scrub before mix and they still look new, they only cost £8 so if I wreck them i'll buy a few more

Skim is skim fecker

No its different. Bg skim seems to be easier to get a finish then gyproc skim. I use the 2. If am working close to the border I get multi it's only £5 gyproc is €10.50. But who gives a f**k it's only skimming no different then painting no skill involved.

vinces dad Mr townsend (nice bloke by the way) (y).
is the reason I ended up a plasterer.
he tried and ultimately failed to teach me physics at comprehensive school :(.
so I couldn't become a physicists which was my first choice.
i tried excorcism college but found it was absolutely soul destroying waving at walls was the only other job left in the newsagents window.

Was pete aka vince aka @theplasterman who gets the gear so i'll let him answer...i do agree though I like it a lot, we even did really high suction stuff today and it still performed

Both my older brothers were the brains of family , best I got was a D in exams ( I was the rebel ) , at school always hated being told I had to learn things by teachers tbh my dad tried to help but always said try hardest you can and that is good enough.
