Bonding to straighten out a concaved dot and dabbed wall?

I know mate, that’s my point lol. I used
To give zombie s**t about claiming that mix when I first joined haha.

I do all sorts with artex. All depends. Sometimes just mix first up bit
Thicker is all it needs. Sometimes not too much bonding but never only a handful I cannot see the point in that.

On this job i just knocked up 5 bags of bonding no multi n covered all the artex. So can just pva n skim tomo. Cold walls so played it safe.
Did you put pva on before bonding.
@Cockney1 its every horrible stipply pattern ever. Not really deep. But every ceiling and walls are different . Oh and a stair lift so least i don't have to run up n down stairs

Yes mate always.

If theres loads and loads just bond it all out only takes a min to flatten. Then pva n skim following days. No grinning, pimples etc n pulls in fast with 1 coat of pva on bonding

Whenever I hear the zombie mix I do piss myself mate. I really don’t like giving out tricks of the trade on here publicly because of all the diyers logging on! All the true spreads in the know have been doing that before he was born. Lol
A double handful halfway threw mixing does work trust me, it’s only used to give it a bit of body. I don’t see the point in 50/50 you might as well just tight bond whatever it is. (y)

Find 5050 gives a few positives. Extra time, dense but not as messy as pure bonding. Flattens really nice doesn’t turn to orange peel. Just the way I’ve done it mate but as said 50/50 is a guess. Likely more like 70 skim 30 bonding

I.ve only ever done reverse . Put skim in bonding to speed it up. I.ll give it a bash . 2 hand fills a bag of skim . You got normal size hands lol

Hahahahaha not really! I have been told a few times that their like shovels lol. After all I am 6’6 and 18st of prime spread! Lol

And if your one those tilers that whant walls like college walls ther a joke go on my nerves tilers sometime complaing about 1 2 m out

Seen as everyone on here makes out there work is absolutely bang on, when someone says only 3-4mm out, that actually equates to 1/2 a f**k**g inch in reality! :D

If your floating day in day out on price your always going to get a few mill out here and there don't give a fuk how good you are

A few mm ain’t a problem, of course not, but when tiling with large format tiles, it needs to be pretty good.
