its because someones putting it on too thick obviously. so how does building the beads out first stop it?! i've seen beads like that when the spread has filled them out first. its all about the plasterer nothing to do with that.

you havent got to build a bead out to far. its a couple of milimetres, and you do it in two coats! do you scrim your screwholes aswell?

how many times do you see work over boards that curls out at the beads i see it all the time its because it aint been pre filled rarely gets pulled so no one ever thinks out about it

skim TO the bead, its not difficult- one of the 1st things u learn as a spread. Absolutly
NO need to pre coat scrim- its not made of hessian any more. End of

Think its coz theyve gone horizontal to the bead instead of vertical mate. That way its flat filled and done once. ;)

so how come it doesnt do it when i skim? and how come ive seen it happen when people fill the bead first. like i say. your talking bollo x

yea there not in the current cat it was £9.95 fit s the corner pretty snug had a two inch corner trowel as well that fits good too

do you think its better then? do u give it a trowel first and then use your corner trowel?

Seems to me that people have different operating procedures and they all get results, so no one is right or wrong, just different.

i agree nelly, my arguement is blaming proud skim on beads on the fact that the bead isnt filled out is bull shlt

Theres possibly a new bead coming out with tiny spikes on it like carper gripper to stick it on with.

Could have great potential I just been on the patent site and saw it.

might be too expensive dont u think

No I think the beads are stamped out anyway rather than molded ( I mean the holes) so if they can crimp tiny spikes inwards then that'd be a winner.

Be a total nause sliding out of the box though, but if you can just simply push a bead on and its stuck then that would be great
