gotta love the darts it’s one sport where I don’t have a favourite and just enjoy it

Because it’s as close to being a working class sport as possible unlike football which has taken a turn for the worst and about money and fans being treated as customers which is why I enjoy lower league football

there is good money in darts, a local, ex pro dart player now picks up 30k for a weeks tv about retirement. better then his old job as a floor screeder.

What I don’t agree with is I read an article a while back and all the Highgate set (affluent area middle/upper class people) was going to the darts as ally pally isn’t to far for them for them to then go back to their mates and say they spent a day at the darts with the common people found it rather insulting myself we ain’t animals in a zoo

It is it’s about working out maths and technical have you ever thrown a dart and know how hard it is? And yes they was all fatties but now they take it serious and many have lost a lot of weight to improve their game

ally pally is a down at the heel building .
 
I used to like darts, but if I walk into a pub now and theres a game I usually just do 180 and walk back out.
 
Love darts. In what other sport can a lowly scumbag plasterer play against some of the top professionals including the world number 1?
Not a fan of all the razzmatazz surrounding it nowadays though.
 
Not as much in this match here as score line suggests. It's been an entertaining semi final so far.

They put on a very good show and have stood the test of time he comes into crowd and all sorts which I think is brilliant

Mvg will step it up that’s for sure he gets angry at himself and knows what he gotta do cross is good and he ain’t got nothing to lose which is good this is a better game than Taylor v Lewis

Mvg got lucky last night, not really got better tonight so maybe just maybe cross can pull it off.


Either way I hope Taylor has the fairy tale send off
 
What a finish for a set. Cross has no fear. Il like Phil to bow out on a high all the same. This is a cracking game though
