Presume that drum isn't sealed and is there to give the gravel a head start over a traditional soakaway?

Seems a bit pointless unless there's some sort of mechanism to pump the water out? Presume there is?

Either reuse the water or don’t. If you zoom in , you’ll see holes on the barrel.

Stuart if your house is on an estate I very, very much doubt that it's rainwater drainage is connected to a soak away. You'll be able to solve this problem easy enough.

My friends have a pump to pump there's and I think they buried a 1000ltr drum
