I didn't hear about that one, i not overly keen on everbuildThey're being taken over by Everbuild. Wouldn't surprise me if it was exactly the same stuff.
I think there the only people to sell laquered trowelsI didn't hear about that one, i not overly keen on everbuild
@malc can you post a pic of your trowel please?
I have lots of trowels but of different sizes as im on domestics, Marshalltown first and second coat and flatten till no lines then two hits with nela 14" and comes out nice and at same time trying to break in a carbon marshalltown.
i wasted one afternoon trying to post pictures on here then gave up.
the marshalltown that i have the premier model number 4665dfl 13 x 5. if you go on to amazon uk they list the duraflex premier trowels, but do not purchase one there as they are listed at £123 . 90p each!

Cheers malc, if i lived in the states i could buy one for this price.

those are the ones my brother purchased at the same price.
Are they any good Malc ? are they very dissimilar to your premium ?
Im sure paul at walls and ceilings can get the one malc uses at a decent price.
James do you know him well ? i get down there a good few times a year, if he could jack that up id purchase one.
Yes mate ive known him 25 years and they are a great run company, they would get trowels and other tools/stilts etc direct from marshalltown and Kraft also and have always been able to source what i wanted they just need the code. He would sort out an estimate of cost and probably take a couple of weeks to get it.
Mate if you know him that well would you put the question to him when you're in next ? I'm 20 minutes up the road from you so could easily nip down if it materialised. Or is that cheeky as fuc7 lol ?
Just get in touch with Rollins tools, they the main dealer for mt, you can order from them online and all. Probably the cheapest way to get it. They were dirt cheap on a toolfair in London
That's understandable. My local ones are all think that the roads are paved with gold asking £62 inc vat for a standard ss 14" mt, thats independent, chains a tenner cheaper without any disco.Fair enough but i like to use my local stockist as much as possible and all they sell is plastering tools and materials.
