Two coats . To be fair that bit of job seems to be heat trap so was going off quick.
I asked lad if he wanted that or finish other room . Ceiling two walls 6 reveals. He took room and was blowi g out his arse.
I don't mind staircase . This was a big wall but most are just one wall but customers seem to think it's alot so can get good prices

We always just drop the lid and the whole top in a gauge.

Then dismantle all ladders and buttons and do that as a 2nd gauge and blend it.

Much easier than dicking about imo
