That was from a local syndicate mate, only 21lb but a good looking one. I see you're from Bucks, this year I got my ticket for Savay but have only been there once. Next year though my plan is for one weekend a month. I take it you fish the valley?

I live 5mins walk from savays gate.its like a carpers dream area here.you must have waited ages for the ticket,or friends in high places:RpS_wink:not out at the mo as have got a 3mnth baby,and 2yr old.as soon as she goes through the night I'm out again:RpS_thumbsup:fished farlows on and off for years,brothers a bailiff over there.couple of other syndicates too.

Lets just say I didn't wait long for my ticket. It's a days only ticket, so I'll be having a beer up the Horse and Barge and then sleeping down Harefield Lane on a Saturday night. I won't be doing a weekend again until next year but I'll let you know when if you fancy a beer.

Sounds good mate,I think anyone can apply for the day ticket can't they?not sure how long the wait normally is,very tempted to go for one myself.fish a part of history.its quite restricted where you can fish on the lake though isn't it?

I already knew a few members and was introduced to the owner so I don't know if I got my ticket quicker because of that or not.
It's a very special lake and well worth the ticket (£100). The only area you're not allowed on is the Colne bank, which although a massive area you still have plenty of lake to go at, it is 75 acres after all.
