Agreed, but I'd just blame it on reality, plain & simple. If they don't like it, they can get someone else to rush it and suffer the liabilities.

Have you used this. It's saying an hour working time. Would like it to be abit more TBH. Just seen a YouTube clip on it. 7/1 mix with sand although ones needs a Baron forced action mixer. Difficult to find here to hire out

Anything different from it than ordinary S&C screeds. Can't seem to find a forced action mixer for hire anywhere near me either.

If I’m honest I can’t remember, I don’t think so to be fair. We used a pan mixer I seem to remember.
Expensive stuff tho

The Ardex product I had spec'ed was simply a cement replacement.

Done a bit of research on it and it's a product I think I'll be using in the next extension I build however this time, the clients didn't want to pay the additional costs for it. 42 f**k**g euro a bag and it was saying we needed 40 bags for 7/1 mix. 40sq meters of 75mm screed.

We use Topcem instead of cement. It has a faster drying time

hi, what ratio do you use with the Topcem and sand. Still 4 to 1?
If you are going to use a dehumidifier or heaters to dry it out quicker.
You can same some money by not using cement in the mix.
It's going to go to dust unless you let it dry out correctly.
Rather than using a dehumidifier, you should be keeping it damp for up to 5 days.
It is not going to cost you anymore in man hours to let it dry out.
The risk of having to pull up the floor after customer has moved in and floor tiled is a bigger f*ck up.
