@JessThePlasterer - I had some cheeky c**t here, a handyman... I dunno exactly what he does but it's not plastering - offer me £75 a day for price work.
Direct customer will pay what I ask for but as soon as anyone gets between me and him, it's a real effort to get more than £90. That wouldn't exactly be great for a week's work but for odd jobs, fcuk off, I'd rather starve.

Agreed cheeky b*****d! I gave someone a quote for a fair bit of work and he came back to me with a budget of something daft and asked would I work for that? I remember working it out and informing him he was in fact asking me to work for £40 a day!! Didn’t hear back from him thankfully but I bet he got someone to do the work in his budget! Mental

I didnt think ive heard it all until now..do you think a plumber cares when he charges £3000 to fit central heating in a 3 bed house like i got charged..took him a day and half ,materials cost roughly £1200..did i moan? Not once as im in it to win it aswell..thats y plumbers are where there are and weve got numptys in our trade..its a hard game know your worth

I told you, I charge £180 a day, plus materiels plus 20%... That's here though. If I thought I could get more in the n/w then I'd charge it but I know for a fact that there's firms supplying men - even direct to domestic for £120
