good points, thats why i came on here to hear your views and it will be tested by you lot so if crap it can be binned. They have been products in recent years launch, then fail. That tape really don't know, but I can staple quicker than that, and then less hassle removing staples If out of line. Uni finish I liked, had 1 fail with it, compensated. I see bq launch quick dry bonding, I think it will fail. Too expensive, also I can set bonding in any time I want. Bq no tape filler tried, it failed as many said on this forum. I'm hearing it is to be discontinued. Point to this post is manufacturers don't ask us guys what we would like. I have also had easifill blow off painted surfaces. Only use toupret now expensive.confidence in some of these products are low even if you follow spec, which I read and follow.
The proof is in the pudding !good points, thats why i came on here to hear your views and it will be tested by you lot so if crap it can be binned.
If its shite they'll soon tell yaThe proof is in the pudding !
lime should give more time though.handful of cement dose the same
dirty buggers!People lose their s**t if there's a bus/train strike f**k knows how they would survive constant power cuts tv going off air at random amd the three day week. An enduring image fom that time was workers huddled round brazier's.
i welcome any new innovation for our game, but seen few that are game changers.dont think the tape is one.good points, thats why i came on here to hear your views and it will be tested by you lot so if crap it can be binned.
companies have to keep coming up with new ideas to keep shareholders happy, our tape evolved to make my job easier and i use it myself because its easier,if it didn't work it would not have made it this far.i welcome any new innovation for our game, but seen few that are game changers.dont think the tape is one.
feedback from users is important. too many people on this forum are scared to post for one reason or another.
speed up thenlime should give more time though.
The proof is in the pudding !
why dont everybody use your method for sticking beads with scrim then? How do we decide if it’s good or not though?
Does it just need to stick the bead on to be good? If so then scrim tape can do this already.
You could buy a roll of duct tape. run it through a chop saw and make 4 thinner rolls from 1. Then stick the bead with these leaving space either side so skim locks it in.
And I’m sure as s**t if it actually went into production it would cost considerably more than im paying for super sticky gyroc scrim £3 a roll)
cloutsi'm not a speed merchant ,i'm a Sbeadtape merchant.

you say yourself you use clouts ?
we originally tested normal duct tape but without the holes it gets trapped air which causes bubbling and delamination.why dont everybody use your method for sticking beads with scrim then?

so your scrim idea is worse than clouts but my tape is better than both.I do use clouts. Always have. There’s times when you can’t use them or staples or whatever. Then I use scrim to hold them in place and skim away.

since then it has been improved with glue, surface and holes all specially chosen for plastering/ rendering.

I like my bed im off cheersYou’re not getting it. Mine isn’t an idea. It’s improvisation. I much prefer a few clouts for a solid fix. But occasionally you can’t so have to use another method.
Some spreads just dab gear on wall. I prefer a bit of scrim to hold em in place.

If Icound't get a fix I would dab it, however I would try tape, think you would feel if it was going to be a fail though.what works for you is what matters so all is good.
