As bobski pointed out, they might have a few cheaper items to deflect criticism, but the rest will still be priced to pull yer pants down.

In any case, B&Q are themselves a rip-off for 95% of what they sell, so it's not really difficult for Jewson to undercut them on a few items.

Tbf Wickes have upped their game from what I remember. Limited stock on a lot of the things I use for my chancery, but cheaper than Selco on some of the basics and round the corner.
