Tbf Wickes have upped their game from what I remember. Limited stock on a lot of the things I use for my chancery, but cheaper than Selco on some of the basics and round the corner.

Travis Perkins group have now sold Wickes . they had been trying to lay it off for years.

Tbf Malc, I’ll be disappointed if that’s the case. My local Wickes has a TS inside where I buy a lot of bits and pieces, but the Wickes saves me a drive to Selco or similar to pick up boards, multi and cls etc.

bc profiles £8 .06 (5 litres )not using for over-skims,I always grit .... more for for back to brick sealing before dabbing .

Yeah, Selco sell that BondIt PVA. It's barely even half as concentrated as Evo-Stik Super Concentrate PVA, so seems like a false economy to me.
I would never use any pva for any over skim (evo is north £20 )the bond it is £8 (I use for sealing hack offs ..). (Add in screed mixes ) highly recommend & @bcprofiles ...

I don't think there's much to choose between any of the main merchants, it's all about turnover and having a relationship. If you're buying enough your prices will essentially be set by the manufacturer anyway.

Anyone Surrey/Sussex/Kent definitely worth trying Hitchcock and king. Cracking rendering sand and look after their regulars
