got it .........works exept for the hose ....spoke to the chap and he said it was working fine last time he used and water came out of the cap over the pump :-\ so will try it on site mite be my transformes not powerfull enough.........or its just f.u.c.k.e.d ;D
ive tried water straight into it at the nozzle at the top and it works sound .........ive put water straight through the main hose direct to a tap and it comes out the filter the other end (cheers simps) ........the belts going round and the rod is pumping .......fook knows anyone else feel free to chip in
 
there good napper.......i thought itd mix it all wet and push it through but you pour the plaster in the container and it pushes it up through the middle like a worm dry and water gets fed into the mixing chamber at the top ........there smart.........mine looks smart but doesnt work ;D
 
we got the hardwall going through mate..............hopefully taking it round jonnies after work tomorrow if he cant fix it he knows a mate who fixes screed pumps ...fingers crossed ;)

quick update .........as if anyone gives a toss anyway .........still cant get water coming through so were going to go down the hose route ...we went out last night and spent 65 quid on hoses and connectors ;D

these should work and keep the other lads happy ..does anyone know how many bags they'll hold ..is there any danger of overloading it ?
 
holds 2 bags mate or 4if you got the xtension hoper. pice of piss once you wrk it out. we jst took on a lab to wrk our so we both putting on at same time and dnt need to think bout the machine. top machine jst keeps turning out from 6:30 till 11:30. no waiting fresh consistant mixes. cnt beat . ;D
 
spunky, set water about mark 7 and count 10 seconds then let the powder in, run it under a tub until you get the water setting right, the main thing is not to run it dry becasue its a pain then. your sound know what setting yours runs at.
 
cheers for the help chaps was worried about overloading it and it bottoming out :-\........sorry one more thing ;D............do you bother getting the last bit out of the worm after cleaning it ?....or is that broke on mine aswell
 
one more thing spunky, if your running off mains water, put a note on the tap asking anyone who wants to use it should come and tell you first so you can stop the machine first. if you dont you will get a jam with dry powder
 
cool ....clever things really arent they i thought it'd all be mixed wet in one chamber :).....i got one of these simps Link Removed had to go out and buy my own hoses etc....
 
only thing is spunky when the other tap is opened your pressure will prob drop so you mix might be affected by that?
 
true mate im hoping as long as were not running it really wet we can let some more water in ............would be a good fly on the wall experience first day we use it ;D................i bet we keep forgetting to put bags in etc ;D
 
also mate, only open the flap to let the gear out a little, you want the mixing chamber to be about 3/4 full all the time while mixing, if you open it to much the gear want mix right and closed to much and it will overflow. you want to test it at home. get a couple of bags of hardwall, put a tub under the outlet and get your setting about right so when you get on the job your banging gear on the wall straight away. if you know what i mean.
 
cheers simps ill have a go tommorrow .......going back to the loading powder in do you just fill it to the brim ?
 
when you start off just put a bag in and let the mixer start mixing then fill her up, i have found that sometime if you fill her up to much the bracket that shuts the powder off sticks on .
 
cool ............my brackets hanging........are they normally a bit lose ;D............ill get some pics of it later and post em
