Once again instead of displaying our sorrow and sadness which is why I assume the thread was started, it has resorted to "lets scrutinise every word @gps says so we can try to ridicule his right wing views" which are, by the way, his mine or anyone elses prerogative to hold.

Mays reactions when she went to visit compared to corbyns must surely spell the end of the tories. So far removed from the working class they haven't a clue how to handle them.

From what I have read it was not a building for working class... I think even you and me would be probably shocked and overwhelmed by it.

Without turning this into politics, She is finished anyway and is struggling as a result. Another guy was arrested outside parliament with a knife yesterday, it's not safe and that's the advice she was probably given.
unfortunately wether people like it or not the left have turned this into a political game and have been marching and causing mayhem because the police have nothing else to do do they, May didn't build the block of flats after all, these things are dealt with a local council level.

Note there was no protests by these ferals and feckless after Manchester or borough market ? didn't fit in with there political agenda.
 
Watching panorama and noticed the dabbing hmmmmmm, wonder if this contributed? I'm sure the fire investigators will spot it.

That's the least of their problem now. Ask your self if the boards were fire resistant, doors, floors and ceiling . All this + sprinkle system should have stopped the building burning down like a matchbox . Usually fire jumps from floor to floor , or room to room and you will see most of the rooms or flats spared by it, but that's not the case here. For first time I see building to burn like this. There is a huge case of negligence and savings going on here!

I think a few things contributed the cladding being the obvious but I think this will also get picked up on, it's all above sharing the blame.
 
I predict a tightening up of procedure in the wake of this tragedy. Projects half way through, will rightly and undoubtably see more scrutiny.
Any time you are tempted to take shortcut, or see someone else doing it, remember that fire.
Right is right, so it follows that if it ain't right, .....it must be wrong.
 
People make political issues out of this. Now the government rehousing them in a brand new Kensington development where apartment prices high as £1.5m, people donating via just giving, Simon cowel releasing a sing a song with celebs. f**k me, sorry to say this, they as much of a tenants like every other tenants, sure the housing association has insurance for such scenarios so why again the government gets blamed be that left or right.
Sorry for the lost lives but people shouldn't make a political stand off cos a f**k**g legislation not been extended on a 1970's tower block.
 
Don't agree with this amnesty for the illegals who got caught up in fire regardless of yes it was bad and life was lost but don't think letting illegals come forward and letting them gain status is the way forward as I'm sceptical we could have a lot of burnt out places if this happens,I get called racist bigot ect ect but reality is this is what will happen

There will be a number of things that contributed to it, i.e. No alarms, no extinguishers, no sprinklers, the insulation and cladding. You do know the procedure for dabbing a wall? You know why there is a procedure?
 
Imagine interlinked alarms? They would be set off every time someone cooks curried goat , the sprinklers would be set off on purpose by the feral kids hanging about , I don't know what the answer is but don't think it's that

Why would investigators look at the dabs ?
 
The dab debate is stupid thing to pick up on imo , think what he's getting at is there is no perimeter dab on boards , that only changed recently if I'm correct imo it's how the f**k did the fire go up that building so fast and not be contained on a floor before 30 -60 minutes is the question

course it's fu cking stupid , I know what he's getting at @flynnyman the fire reach 1000 degrees I don't think perimeter dabs are gonna stop it spreading do you ? He just has to have an opinion on everything no matter how stupid it sounds , one of those geezers that can't keep his mouth shut zzzzzzz
