We did a three floor house few years back. Had to do staircase of scaffold as they were putting a beech (think it was) stair case in after so it didn't get ruined. All i remember was smashing me f**k**g hand on scaffold all time

I've done masses of work from my builder over the last 4 years. It's a good site especially as your reviews mount up. It's what kept me a float my first year. Use rated people quite a bit now as it's bigger projects and rated people shows you what their budget is (obviously what they think the work is worth) so you can ignore all the ones who want a loft conversion for 2k. Adding in all the repeat work I've had from it I'd say it's my favourite website of all time. I think my fees over 4 years add up to about 5k

Interesting to hear someone who has had a success on it.

I don't know no I thought it was very cut-throat on those sites but yes everybody does seem to be on them and Facebook,
I've never advertised on any of these or social media

I'm on my builder .waste of time .job comes in when u look at it . there's sometimes 9 interested .and some are 15 miles away . For one wall and one last week said budget an issue.. I think u only pay if you are nominated. And I think they can only pick 3. Shite.
