It's nice to see a couple of members who don't post but usually use the forum on a daily basis so not a big loss and to think I star in a forum drama that people read hahahahaha hmmmmmm I've been in it that long a bit like Ken Barlow :) I wonder how @damny will write me out? ;) will I come back in it again as a different character? Maybe do a few Cameo roles on the tilers forum or micro cement ;)

Haha very true... but every job is different and would be good to see what people are working on... grand designs of plastering....

Either way the lurkers need to say hi as it keeps the place moving....

I must admit, I only really come on for a read of the banter.
Don't contribute to the plastering side of things, as it's most likely been covered, so don't feel I have anything to add in that regard.
It's nice to see that others have the same troubles, annoyances etc. As when you work on your own it can feel like the world's against you sometimes.
Like has been said a place to vent and read the bants!!!!

I will add if there is any G** golfers on here I do get cheap golf on the old course, and would be happy to use it for say... A nice new mug lol

Why don't they try lurking down job centreplus might even get a free 2 day course then they'll be a proper spread(not) took me 2 days to lace up my gangers boots properly when I started , think there's one thing missing plastering properly is never learnt it's an art a God given gift so all the chancers who enroll on these two day learn it all courses might as well apply to be a neurosurgeon lol more chance of learning that make take 6 yrs or more couple of degrees etc but plastering is like painting (art)if you've got it you've got it if you ain't you ain't and if you don't like mornings or physically thrashed day in day out McDonald's are hiring . You never stop learning when your a spread and as its the oldest trade in construction I think 2000 yrs ago properly when I started going on body stress lol all traditional spreads would pass the sas selection course on get bashed and thrashed alone up the wall artists I say

Howye lads , been lurking a long time but might start posting a bit more now .
Plastering in the west of Ireland for the last 14 years , want to try out a speed skim and a plastic trowel but can't be got locally . Does the plasterers 1 stop shop deliver over the pond does anyone know ?
