i reckon me an my mate would win the first 100m2 if it was a corridor but i woudnt like to be competing when it comes to the 3rd 100 mtr set ;D ;D

what you dont realise is the machine knocks up fresh finish all the time no lab no lying about on a spot board pulling the water out of it you could easy put on 70m2 in one hit and you would be waiting for it so you could flatten in and go for a bit more

thats what im saying i think i cud keep up for the first set but come the second and third forth even somedays when the shouder starts going lads with the machine will be playing footy in the compound haha

just as grand says and also , no fag breaks, tea breaks, one man could stick on 70m2 have time for a coffee and clean machine before the first trowel.

tell you what fannyman, we will do a 100m2 area and if you loose then you pay for our time , 300 a day each . me and monkey

simply your changin the rules already this is one on one, sounds interestin give me a few details and lets sort some rules then we can see if its posible i mean you might take all the facts into account and may change your mind. Post that vid up that you made, are we talkin somethin like this? it would be interestin to see if the machine is all you think its cracked up to be. Ive said in the past it has its uses so lets get some rules down and also what do you think would be the prize? :)

fanny my man, i think your missing the point a little bit, your not just buying a machine to spray finish, your buying a machine which will spray hardwall, then the skim, or render, mono , mp75 , bucket coat systems and even paint so its a tool you can use everyday. I suffer from shoulder problems myself and the less i have to use a trowel and hawk the better its got to be on the body, how many lads have back problems since they changed everything to 25kg and we have forks to get materails to near to where we want them. ;)

i forgot to say, you also use it for insulation systems for the adhisvie and the top coats so i would think it would but i will check for you mate

simply they have there uses and so does a trowel and im sure there is someone usin the trowel at the same time. Im not sure skim on the hardwall would be easier than the trowel coz of the suction unless there was two of ya. The point im makin is they dont replace a labourer and they wouldnt speed you up on your own coz you have to turn back eventualy, even more so coz your sprayin were as i would be flattening it as i go and god forbid you put a dodgy bag off finish in coz then you and the machine are bolloxed. Hey simple i might be startin work soon with a guy who uses a machine so i might have to go on youtube to learn a bit, they have there advantages but to me skimmin isnt one of them.

the job is in lancaster its coming to the end now tho but if a job comes off in liverpool that im hoping on i wouldnt mind seeing it in action or if thats too far from you i would be willing to come to you and give it a try some time

both the same machine but ones a powercoat and the other is a ritmo m , the powercoat is 110v and the ritmo m is 240v, the ritmo m is the one that will spray multi although PFT are testing a 110v compressor which if all works out will mean you can spray multi with the powercoat

ok thanks. iv been looking into the different materials and i cant find anywhere that stocks mp75 or thistle projection. they all say i would have to buy a pallet. is there anywhere you know of around the watford area that i could get it from in smaller quantites. i wanted to try a bag or 2 out

Have you got a machine mate? or are you just wanting to try one coat plaster? if your suppliers don't stock MP or projection try thistle UOC from B&Q,

no i havent got a machine. interested in them, but wanted to try out the plasters first, and also if anywhere will supply them. is universal one coat or thistle projection as good as mp75? is the one in wickes a wickes plaster?

I know absolutely nothing about machine plastering so this is a genuine question not a wind up or looking to start an argument, are machines suitable and more importantly quicker when applying multi-finish in a normal housing situation ie. quite a few small areas to put on, reveals, heads, ramps, dormer cheeks and cupboard walls.

Bob, me and monkey are doing mp75 in harlow so if you want to try some machine plastering and mp then let us know and you could come along for a day
