oooooooooooooooooooooooooooww................lol give your head a shake simple it was a joke..........tut tut tut

so was i joking, just spent 5 hours in the van and i got a trapped nerve for the last two weeks. glad im spraying as its my hawk arm so thank god for my machine

better hope it dont break down or you are bolloxed ;) Do you actually skim with that machine and be honest, ive seen the demo but appart from that have you used it and if yes what kind of job was it and how many men were on it?

I might be workin with a guy soon who has a machine so i might but i think he uses it for outsides which ive said is probably its big advantage.

we did 180m2 of render inside a while back on an extension, two of us inside and one on the machine chucking bags in, mix of therm and concret blocks, all ruled up and floated ready for skimming by 2pm. started at 9am so its labour saving mate

I know absolutely nothing about machine plastering so this is a genuine question not a wind up or looking to start an argument, are machines suitable and more importantly quicker when applying multi-finish in a normal housing situation ie. quite a few small areas to put on, reveals, heads, ramps, dormer cheeks and cupboard walls.

obviously their going to be better suited for larger areas , and realisticaly if your only doing farty little bits then no it's not worth setting up a machine, anything more then 20m2 then i'd be spraying it, on the outside doind renders then anything more then a sample panel and i'm pulling the G4 out

did you use the machine for skimmin and what time did you finish or did you leave it till the next day and then use the machine?

been enjoying this thread! anything that saved me shoulder and wrist can only be a good thing, just wish i had the meters to warrant getting a machine.....

no fanny, left it a week and ended up uting some boys in on £3m2. said i could get a machine over for them to show how easyer it will be on them but they wanted to hand apply so i thought fck you then and made 2.50m2 . ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D.

were be there for a couple of weeks yet, you cant put bonding through a machine, it a snap set but everyhting else like hardwall will. you use bagged sand and cement ( OCR) your welcombe to come along and see us spraying mate

Your more then welcome to come and see us bob , but it's in Harlow .....and more to the point ..bring your trowel and a big box of donuts lol
