Material situation???

The figures are all freely available if you care to look. I'd also point out I didn't say "double that of the worst economic crash we'll have seen" I'd also point out that it won't be even close to being the worst economic crash.

Maybe spend a bit more time reading and a bit less waffling like Wolfie Smith on a bad trip.
You lost the figures mate?

@ Nath80, because of your youth (yes really) you have a lot to learn and no memory of recent times past. e.g. when you were a young kid we had the AIDs epidemic early 1980's. Global c. 70 million infected, over 35 million have died, Africa a graveyeard, USA in denial, Edinburgh was the worse place in the UK but it was everywhere.
The NHS did not handle it well, nor did the Labour Govt. who were intent on buying their way out of unemployment to a land of millk and honey. A lorra lorra people (including a mate of mine) kept telling him he was going bust and that the banks were too - several years before it happened. The Banking crash was an excuse he used to cover it, not the cause.
Zombie bless him, has the age and insight to know that, and that is why he thinks that the present Lot have not done badly, irrespective of their politics. The older members of the Labour Party also remember, and that is why they would not support the unchanged radical Corbyn. Their election proposals were based on that same failed model and huge borrowing, that Gordon proved does not work, but at higher interest rates than for this pandemic.
Yes, it will be worse than the financial crash, even now the Banks are holding on to the money and not putting it out there as Govt wanted, 'til they get their pound of flesh, and making us suffer. A reduction of 35%, if we're lucky, will probably put us back where we were then. Forget which party, nobody will have a unicorn or easy fix for this one.
PS give HMRC your bank details.

Normally I think you’re a complete fruit loop but I have to agree with you here.

I pass no judgement on anyone’s business. It’s their business

Some people on here need to mind there own buisness ffs! I'm not working but wont judge any1 that is,who knows there situation, got blokes on here going on about deferring there £1000s of vat moaning that a 1 man/woman band is trying to pay Bill's and put food on the table.put a sock in it,if your not working give yourself a round of applause stop judging

Even if he's on minimum wage, that's got to be at least a grand a month. With being able to take a mortgage holiday I can't see how any couple can't live off a grand a month. All my outgoings for a family of 4 including food comes to around £800 and there's literally nothing else to spend your money on right now
f**k me you are an opinionated little toss pot!
You have no idea what our income is. What our outgoings are. What luck and bad luck has been thrown our way.

This is the internet. We are strangers. Wind your neck in. Mind your own business

Not being funny but £800? If only

Exactly my Mrs is still working we’ve took a mortgage holiday and only got food and gas and electric council tax etc to pay.

£150 council tax, £30 life insurance, £40 water, £70 gas and electric, £50 sky, £20 Netflix and spotify, £400 on food. Pay for my car and van insurance in one go so ok realistically for other maybe another £70 taking it to £830? What else is there when you can't spend a penny anywhere?

Well if your bills are more for 2 than my family of 4 you're doing something wrong. If your husband works full time and is on 80% then "I have to work to survive" I'm afraid is b*ll***s at this current time

So £830 then not £800..I was on about more me..in other words every situation isnt the same,my car and child maintenance per month is more that £800 and I'm being good cos I can and not work but that dsnt make somebody worse than me because there are working

Anyone going to work is just a scab imho,no different to crossing a picket line or going against a strike.

You’ve been asked by your or so loved government to stay home and they say they are gonna pay you 80% of you earnings, you can take 3 months off all the debts and mortgage . No one should have the need to go to work. Plastering ain’t that important.

Mrs just gone off to work in another fffp3 mask from my supply out my van .
Labour or Tory please stay home and stop the spread pls lads.
Off to read the kids a bed time story.
God bless.
