doing a mono job at the mo and found out there are no lintol above Windows the brickie said are going to put steel flat lintels in cos of the span
what do you do in this situation where the metal is seen underneath do you put drip bead up or an angle bead to close it all in if so what do you stick on the shiny metal bit cheers

Pink Grip should stick the bead and we've used Parex Maite over steel rightly or wrongly, but it's never failed.
I can dab the bead on Andy there is a brick on the front edge they are using just l shape lintels so will only see steel on the reveal bit just wondering how we get the mono to stick will hpx stick to this as we are base coating an meshing first

Alot of new builds have steel lintels here, on all windows, i've never done a house with it but the ones ive seen have just beaded across the face and left the underside with the steel showing

we do not use bell beads over windows in mono. just stop beads it looks more modern. stick a plastic cover strip on the window head if needed.
