for the ritmo 1 coat is enough if your spraying multi, don't forget that this macine can spray it thicker in 1 pass then you can in 2 passes

i only do 2 coat its the way i do it..dont fink i can do1 coat well.can u still do 2 coats with this..(like i got 5k!)

trust me if you can do 2 coats then you can do 1 coat, don't forget the machine is putting the material on for you then all you need to do is either use a spatula or a 20" trowel to flatten it in then just trowel like you normally would

bit off the wall this i know but what if them german 'huff' houses catch on..
theyll be no such thing as a plasterer before long..

and if the tilings 2mm out they'll pull em off and make you redo it!

lol! yeh probably..
but dont all the tiles and everything come pre fabbed? you pick your house design, spec it out, wait a few months and it gets delivered and banged together in about 5 minutes!!!
still.. the germans messed up that flat roof on grand designs big stylie eh?

lucius are you out there in reply to your post, machine plaster has gone up here because it's popular now and there milking it for all it's worth. i am up near tarragona in cataluya getting between 6 & 7 euro per m2 supply and fix what about you, cheer's

i am in a place called Mora D'Ebre and the gear i use here is called proyal xx1 or uralita rubi l or uralita r, proyal is simular to knauf mp 75 but does'nt sponge up as well so we put a tight set coat on called meca fino same go's for the uralita but different set coat called amatista.

Hi El Tel
Ime down in Murcia, i dont have a machine but use projection plaster manualy for small to medium jobs i cant be arsed with controlado far to messy let the Spanish get dirty.I use the same as you Proyal or Coral from Terra pillar which comes in smaller bags dont always use Mecafina as i can normaly get a good enough finish without it but do use it sometimes the next day when its been a late day and wont go of to tidy it up in the morning but as you know you have to watch it as it goes rock hard.I use a Spanish plasterer with a machine for my bigger jobs which are normaly old three storey town houses and he charges 6€ m2 supply and fix but with that he has to hire a massive 3 phase generator dont know what machine he has other than it is German and can do S/C if he changes something inside. The bigger jobs i see seem to be pumped straight from Silos but you would no more about that than me.
Regards Lucius

alright lucius what's it like for work down there ? it's well quite here at the moment.

el tel, dosent macca fino take ages to go off, i tried it on boards and took about 4 hours to set. do they sell perlinor super where you are, and perlita del.

when i use meccafino on proyal it dont take to long to go off,but i put it on nice and tight. if i have to go over boards i use a tight coat of proyal (like you do with bonding)and then meccafino.they don't sell perliner super or perlita up here but i think uralita rubi is simular and has a high content of perlita in it.not a bad bit off gear i alway's use the rubi l because it has a slower set and is a bit creamier. cheers el tel

Its quiet here to but i do general so get by. The town i live in has a population of 16000 and the Mayor has just released 33,000000€ for works around the town , new roads, fachades etc but as you know if you are a foreigner you wont get a sniff. Yes did say 33 million euros and all you in the U.K. will be happy to know that you are paying for it as most of it is E.U. funded.

next time in merchants i will have a look for that, as they have so many types in lanzarote, joint finish alone there must be 10 types, not that there selling it, all new builds come to a stop, and now cant sell them,

i ve got about a month 's work to do then sweet f.a. it's pissing down here at the moment! might as well be back home see you later chap's, el tel

Iberplaco do a board finish called Placo finish if you can get it about 8€ a bag its quite good

£5000 i allot to spend on a machine that may or may not help, speed up, control quality, increase productivity and professionalism. Has anyone considered hiring? It’s a great way to test a machine before purchasing but it also allows you to budget jobs better..... Just a thought.

£375 per week ? not for a £5000 pound machine. £175 maybe. could cost as little as £0.40 / m2.

it is for the person who charges you £375 per week....ha ha
you ever thought of hiring em out mate? could turn out to be more lucrative than selling em?

not really mate as they tend not to get looked after properly there ain't many places that do hire them now, I'm not saying that everyone would mistreat them but there are a few who would, wriggo who do you know who hires a machine for 175 , and that 375 includes hire of a generator as well which costs over 3000

Im interested but WILL have to save some cash as I dont wanna flash out 5k at the moment.

What are the running costs ??
how easy is it to get 3 phase as i know knothing about it ??
What is the best poss price you could do us ??
How about if a few of us were to buy 2 or 3 together ??
