So your telling an experienced plaster how to mix and apply plaster? I honestly don't think the problem is inexperience if you was to believe the initial post. If this was done by a chancer o think the thread would be is this acceptable? Sad how you would rather blame basics rather then believe it could be the plaster? At least my opinions are not biased

for f**k sake there is a window in the room, it's an unusual scenario I agree, but let's not pick on basics and ignore the obvious.

My problem this thread is I would've fixed it before anybody saw it and I would not have phoned someone to tell them I'd f**k*d up

F**: an expierenced plasterer can id that as soon as they walk in the room and look at it.
The guy simply lost control of the set.
Doubt it was material.
Finish is pish.

Not getting a bite from me flynny 2 late for that
I always bite .. Big mac always keeps me going

3 lids put on lost one where the window was running around flapping that caused him to have problems with the other 2 I know because this sort of thing happened to me with a 3 bag mix lost the set and stood there with egg on my face lesson learnt every day is a school day

3 ceilings at once? Ffs.

One ceiling a day, a small one.

Anything bigger than one 6x3 board get hit over 2 days. Then sand it down once it's dried out properly. That's the rules surely?

We had some multi from tp in Norwich on a re skim job second coat wouldn't stay on the first coat. First coat went fine put second on just after flattening then flattened off and just started peeling off when trying to trowel it. only way it would stay on was to run a brush over whole wall. We tried everything else. Tried changing our prep, tried going over different surfaces then decided we had tried enough different approaches to blame the plaster.

We also tried the gear on a different job onto plasterboard and it done exactly the same.

And he put 3 ceilings on at same time
I don't see how that's relevant unless your slow, on a reskim or a very good price. The pic with the window I would say the ceiling is no more than 12m . Pretty sure it was all board so three ceilings is only a small gauge if they are a similar size and I would get them out of the same mix :)

It wasn't a whack in like a game show kind of thing it was more a case of, I couldn't find the "what a load of b*ll***s" button and that was closest so I gently brushed my finger over the screen and touched it :)
