Hi lads don't slate me just yet but how hard is it to do lime plastering? I've just had a customer ring up and ask if I can do it which I said no I've never used it, they can't find anyone to do it and asked if I would like to have ago? But just after some advise as whether to just say no or have ago I've been plastering nearly 11 years s&c dry lining skimming and I'm interested in learning new skills but would it be better to go on a coarse 1st ?

lime plastering is slow, expensive and heavy work. you will need a 11" trowel . what backing are you plastering onto?

You could do it alright with decent advice, it screams day work at me, advice depends on which product that is been used, martinemj is king at it I believe

Cheers all I know is they've already got the gear it's from Eco lime and its a finish plaster to go over the existing lime walls

Cheer Sean will give you a call I'm hoping to go out to look at the job at the end of the week so will give you a call before then
